1 Definitions
1.1 Authority

2 General dispositions
The applicant, the Registrante and the Contacts of a Name of Political Dominion declare that they know and accept the Base, procedures, regulations and Annexes in relation to the name service of Dominion, including their registry, modification, suspension, cancellation, transference and disputes.

Registry .MX simply is administering the space of Names of Dominion, and therefore, any consequence derived of the registry and/or use from Names of Dominion that constitutes or could constitute violations to the applicable legislation, are exclusive responsibility of the Registrante of the Name of Dominion.

Any modification or update to these Policies will be published with a warning of at least 15 (fifteen) Days immediate previous to the date of their entrance in force, in the Web site of Registry .MX (www.registry.mx), so that Registrar, the Registrante and/or the Contacts show what to his interest it agrees. Once passed the previous term Registrar, the Registrante and the Contacts of the Name of Dominion will be forced under these new Policies, without it is necessary that Registry .MX realizes no other type of publication or warning.

The present Policies could be modified or be replaced listening to the commentaries and opinions sent by the External Consultative Committee, being effective within at least 15 (fifteen) Days later to the publication of the proposal of modifications in the Web site of Registry .MX (www.registry.mx), so that Registrar, the Registrante and/or the Contacts show what to his interests it agrees. Once passed the previous term Registrar, the Registrante and the Contacts of the Name of Dominion will be forced under these new Policies, without it is necessary that Registry .MX realizes no other type of publication or warning.

All the communication will be in Spanish language; nevertheless Registry .MX will be able to answer messages originally written in a language different from the Spanish to consider it thus necessary.

Registry .MX will be able to register, to modify, to renew, to eliminate, to transfer and/or to suspend a Name of Dominion by resolution emitted by some Authority.


3 Basic operations of Names of Dominion
In Registry .MX, the Registrars they can carry out the following basic operations of Names of Dominion:
  • Registry.
  • Modification.
  • Renovation.
  • Elimination.
  • Transference.
Registrar of a Name of Dominion is unique the authorized one to realize anyone of the previous operations before Registry .MX, whenever estatus of the Name of allows it to Dominion. If the Registrante and/or the Contacts of a Name of Dominion wish to realize anyone of these operations, will have to ask for this service by means of Registrar, that will have to provide the service to the Registrante and/or the Contacts of the Names of Dominion that it administers.

By the previous thing, Registrar when carrying out these basic operations will make sure to count on the authorization of the Registrante, whenever it is necessary.

Registrar, the Registrante and the Contacts accept and recognize that it is his obligation maintaining his information and the one of the Names of Dominion with which they have relation, updated in the data base of Registry .MX.

Next one describes each one of the basic operations of Names of Dominion:

3.1 of the registry of Names of Dominion.

3.4 Of the elimination of Name of Dominion.

4 Suspension and elimination of Name of Dominion on the part of Registry .MX.
Registry .MX will be able to suspend and/or to eliminate a Name of Dominion when:
  1. The Name of Dominion is not paid by Registrar.
  2. By requirement of Authority.
  3. Registry .MX needs to contact with Registrar related to a Name of Dominion, and this it would not respond to official notices of Registry .MX within the required term. In this case the Name of Dominion could be suspended and/or be eliminated.
  4. The information of the Registrante and/or the Contacts, and/or the one of the Name of Dominion one is not updated that is false.
  5. The Registrante and/or the Contacts of the Name of Dominion do not fulfill Political the Base.


5 It disputes and It complains a Name of Dominion.
Registrar will be the person in charge to transact and to provide solution the problematic ones that they are gotten to provoke with relation of the Names of Dominion that it administers.

One says that a dispute of Name of Dominion exists when a third party creates to have straight better on the ownership of a Name of Dominion that the present holder. Two types of disputes of Names of Dominion exist:
  1. Dispute by ownership.

    b) The suppliers designated for resolution of this type of dispute are in the Web site of Registry .MX (www.registry.mx).
    c) When carrying out itself east procedure, Registry .MX will maintain blocked the Name of Dominion so that the same cannot be modified or be transferred, during the time that lasts the procedure.
    d) Registrar, the Registrante and the Contacts of the Name of disputed Dominion will have to accept the resolution of the panel who solves the dispute.
Despite the previous thing, the Registrante, the Contacts, Registrar and/or any third party will be able to interpose a complaint before Registry .MX whenever it considers it necessary, in relation to the Name of Dominion.

NOTE: Any other organization including in the present column could not be registered under this one category.
  1. Copy of registry before the Federal Commission of Telecommunications like supplier of the services before mentioned.
  2. Letter with letterhead soliciing the Name of Dominion. It is important to mention the information of the services that offer. The letter will have to be signed by the proxy or legal representative.
  3. Copy of an official identification of the person who signs the letter.
The Name of asked for Dominion must have relation, according to Registry .MX, with the name of the organization (name registered before the Federal Commission of Telecommunications).
ORG.MX
a) Legally formed organizations in Mexico for charity;
b) Legally formed societies and Civil Associations in Mexico;
c) Established Physical people in Mexico, who for charity credit the use of the Name of Dominion;
d) International organisms for charity established in Mexico;
e) Constituted nonGovernmental organisms in Mexico;
f) Embassies and consulates of established foreign countries in the Mexican national territory;
g) Political parties and associations of political character;
h) Religious associations;
i) Institutions dedicated to the education of people with different capacities;
j) Institutions of private charity;
k) Trusts of private character.

NOTE: Any other organization including in the present column could not be registered under this one category.
  1. Registry .MX will be able to ask for to the holder of the Name of Dominion any documentation that considers necessary to verify the total fulfillment of the present Policies.
In case Registry .MX asks for some documentation to the people morals, they will have to send document that the quality indicated in the previous column and in case of the physical people verifies, to send a letter indicating that the activities that realize they are fundamentally activities for charity.

The shipment of documents will have to be realized in a term smaller to 10 (ten) Days via postal mail.
EDU.MX
a) Institutions of Education that count on a registry before the SEP or are built-in to some University recognized by the Mexican State;
b) Schools of Labor Qualification or technical Education credited by some competent Office of the Mexican Government;
c) Institutions dedicated to the pre-school Education that count on a registry before the SEP or are built-in to some University recognized by the Mexican State;
d) Institutions dedicated to the investigation that count on the registry before the CONACYT.

NOTE: Any other organization including in the present column could not be registered under this one category.
  1. Copy of the Registry before the SEP or copies of the newspaper or official newspaper credits that it according to the specific case; or if so, copy of the registry before the CONACYT.
  2. Letter with letterhead of the educative institution asking for the Name of Dominion, which will be unique the authorized one to use the same.
  3. Copy of an official identification of the legal representative who signs the letter.
The Name of asked for Dominion must have relation, according to NIC Mexico, with the name of the organization (name registered before the official institute of corresponding education).

NOTE: The Registrante of the Name of Dominion will be unique the authorized one to realize modifications in the same.
GOB.MX
a) Federal, State and Municipal government, Governmental Secretaries and Dependancies, Programs, dispersed, independent centralized, decentralized Organisms and semi-official Organisms of the Public Administration of the Mexican Government;
b) State and semi-official companies of the Mexican Government;
c) Embassies of Mexico;
d) Trusts of governmental function.

NOTE: Any other organization including in the present column could not be registered under this one category.
  1. Letter with letterhead of the organization of the Mexican Government where it asks for the Name of Dominion, signed by a legal representative.
  2. Copy of the appointment of the person who signs the letter where asks for the Name of Dominion.
  3. Copy of an official identification of the legal representative who signs the letter.
NOTE: The Registrante of the Name of Dominion will be unique the authorized one to realize modifications in the same.
COM.MX Any physical or moral person asks for who it. None

The Classifications with documentation requirements will be reviewed and authorized by Registry .MX. The documentation can directly be sent by means of Registrar or to Registry .MX.
